The Self Launch Sequence

How Self Launch coaching works.

Your journey moves through four core phases, with an optional fifth for the next frontier. Each phase gives you the education, tools, and actions that matter now so you can make progress without becoming overwhelmed by everything ahead.

How to begin

From application to Pre-Launch.

  1. 01. Apply. Share your goals, starting point, and preferred coaching format.
  2. 02. Fit review. Brian reviews the application to determine whether the requested coaching option appears aligned with your needs.
  3. 03. Pre-Launch mapping. If coaching is a fit and you decide to move forward, Pre-Launch maps your goals, schedule, environment, challenges, and four ship systems before training and nutrition begin.

The purpose is to begin with a mission that fits your real life, not to change everything at once.

Mission phases

Build what you need, when you need it.

Each phase has a clear purpose and prepares you for the next.

  1. Phase I

    Pre-Launch

    Learn. Plan. Align.

Before training and nutrition begin, we map your goals, starting point, schedule, environment, challenges, and past experience.

Through lessons, worksheets, and coaching conversations, we align your four systems: Navigation, Life Support, Fuel, and Engine. Together, they form a realistic plan that fits your life.

Pre-Launch is not a test of how disciplined or fit you are. It is preparation for a mission you are ready to carry out.

  2. Phase II

    Ignition

    Act. Test. Build momentum.

Preparation becomes action. You begin training, practice your nutrition plan, protect your recovery, and use the habits and decision-making tools developed during Pre-Launch.

All four systems are tested in real life. We keep what works, adjust what does not, and build the consistency and confidence that create momentum.

  3. Phase III

    Stage Separation

    Progress. Release. Accelerate.

You may begin to notice changes in your strength, energy, routines, body composition, confidence, or relationship with fitness.

Training progresses, nutrition becomes more purposeful, and recovery becomes more intentional. At the same time, you release habits, beliefs, and expectations that create unnecessary drag.

  4. Phase IV

    Orbit

    Sustain. Navigate. Course-correct.

Your systems begin to feel like part of everyday life, not a temporary project.

You learn to monitor your progress, recognize when you are drifting, and make useful course corrections as life changes.

The destination is not perfect execution. It is the skill and confidence to lead yourself.

  5. Beyond Orbit

    Expansion

    Specialize. Perform. Explore.

For many clients, Orbit is the destination: a strong, healthy life they know how to manage.

If you choose a new challenge, Expansion applies your systems to a specialized goal, such as a physique competition, strength or endurance event, athletic performance, or an advanced body-composition target.

Expansion is optional. It is simply the next frontier when you decide you want one.

Your four ship systems

Progress is stronger when every system works together.

When your systems are aligned, your mission becomes clearer, stronger, and more sustainable.

Navigation

Your direction and decision-making system

Navigation clarifies where you are going, why it matters, and how you will stay on course. It connects your goals, mindset, identity, habits, environment, accountability, and the choices you make when life does not follow the plan.

Life Support

Your recovery and resilience system

Life Support protects the energy required for the mission. It includes sleep, stress management, breathing, fatigue awareness, recovery, and the routines that help your body and mind recharge.

Fuel

Your nutrition and energy system

Fuel provides the resources your body needs to think, train, recover, and adapt. It includes meals, hydration, portions, planning, flexibility, and nutrition strategies connected to your goals.

Engine

Your training and physical-capacity system

Your Engine builds strength, fitness, movement skill, and physical confidence. It includes resistance training, conditioning, mobility, movement quality, and the capacity to meet the demands of everyday life.
